Thank You!

The entire rally committee thanks everyone that made this event possible.

First, a tremendous rousing THANK YOU to the residents, farmers, and land owners along the county roads that we ran on, for allowing us to temporarily close the road and inconvenience you for a short period of time. We do hope you had a great time watching the rally cars from your front door step.

And thanks too, to the gracious city of Altenburg and the East Perry County Fairgrounds for the use of the grounds for our service area and volunteer/awards party.

While passing out all of our appreciation we can’t leave out Perryville and their Chamber of Commerce for helping us in many ways and setting up our space for Parc Expose’ at the downtown square and Eagle Bank for the use of their room for registration on Saturday along with both them and the Knights of Columbus for the generous donation of refreshments for our volunteers at the awards party.

And much appreciation goes to the 70+ volunteers that signed up to work the rally. They spent hours out on the roads, working at the start & finish lines, spectator areas, and intersections. Thank you for the smooth running operation.

We also cannot leave out our appreciation to Jason Glueck at Plaza Tire for the use of his shop for tech inspection Friday night and Saturday morning.

And finally we appreciate deeply the Perry County commissioners for believing in us when we came to them with our thoughts on holding a Rally. They trusted in us to hold a professional, well organized, and safe event. They, with the support of the Perry county Sherriff’s Department allowed us to use the county roads for the rally and without their trust and the residents’ permission none of this would have been possible.

Thank You All
